Guidelines for Parents/ Participants
DO'S
It is mandatory to wear ID cards all the time inside the Ashram Campus.
The participants should be punctual & attend all the sessions.
Participation in all the activities of the session is compulsory.
The volunteers/teachers must be informed about the participants' medical history, undergoing any prescribed medication or therapy, if any.
The participants must have all the three meals at the Ashram kitchen.
All participants should be punctual for their meals.
Timings:
Breakfast : 8:00-9:00 a.m.
Lunch : 1:00 p.m.
Dinner : 8:00-9:00 p.m.
Parents can call their kids between 8.00 -9.30 PM.
Participants should be decently dressed according to the decorum of the Ashram.
Loose comfortable clothing is advisable.
Participants must be in their rooms by 10:00 pm sharp and lights off by 10.15 pm.
Cleanliness has to be maintained in the rooms/ program venues/ dining area at all times.
Any difficulty with the room can be informed to the volunteers
The sacred atmosphere of the Ashram should be respected and maintained.
DONT'S
Participants should not loiter outside (in corridors/ open areas of the Ashram).
Strict action will be taken if anybody is found loitering the grounds after the timings.
Intake of junk food and aerated drinks are prohibited.
The ashram is a completely smoke, alcohol and drug-free zone and very strict action will be taken if these substances are found with participants.
Avoid jeans and denim as it is not suitable for this weather.
Participants cannot shift out of their allotted room.
Room lock combinations should be kept confidential & not to be shared with anyone.
Participants are not allowed to leave the Ashram campus till the program concludes.
Disruption of ashram property will be dealt with strictly.
Teachers, volunteers, elders and ashram Security should be respected.

Q. Where will be the accommodations provided?
A. Accommodations are in separate blocks for Girls and Boys. The rooms provided are on a four-sharing basis.
Q. Who will take care of the children?
A. We have well-trained volunteers assigned to manage and take care of the children. All teachers facilitating these programs are experienced and best performing in India.
Q. What kind of food will be provided?
A. The Ashram prepares satvik food for all. Junk food or fast food is prohibited.
Q. What is an adventure camp?
A. We have one-day outdoor Activity Camp. This includes trekking, rappelling and recreational sports like shooting, archery etc. with fun games.
Q. What are the safety measures for the camp?
A. It is handled by the professional adventure sports personnel.
Q. Will they be taken out of Ashram?
A. Yes, through Ashram buses.
Q. What necessary things are required for adventure camp?
A. Following items are required:
Simple comfortable clothes
Shoes
Cap
Water bottle
Swimsuit (optional)
A small bag to carry all these things
Q. Can parents be with children?
A. No
Q. Can parents accompany children to adventure camp?
A. No
Q. Can parents call them during the program?
A. Not during the program but we have specific timings scheduled, usually after dinner around 8 to 9:30 pm
Q. When should a participant report to the ashram?
A. Wednesday is reporting latest by 9:00 pm. Program starts on Thursday morning.
Q. How do we know where should we leave our children.
A. At the reception, once the registration is done, we have an orientation for the parents about the program, schedule and all other related queries of the parent. It is mandatory for the parent to attend the orientation. It is usually held in batches. Once before Satsang and once after Satsang.
Q. When can we take our children from Ashram?
A. The COJ programs end on Monday around 6 pm. You can meet your children in their respective rooms and then check out Ashram. If you have not opted for COJ and just UY/ MY1 / MY2, the program ends around 7.30 pm on Sunday. You can meet your children in their respective rooms and then check out of the Ashram.

You can register only for yourself
Eligibility :
- AOL Teacher : 4 Silence Programs (one in recent 6 months)
- Non AOL Teachers : 4 Silence Programs ( one in recent 6 months) & Sahaj
- If you have have not done one in recent 6 months, you can register for a Silence Program before taking part in Sanyam.
- You must be physically fit to do 5 rounds of Padmasadhana daily during the program.
- Should have listened Patanjali Yoga Sutras and must be following Yamas & Niyamas.
- Ladies whose mensutral cycle is likely to fall during the program time are advised not to register.
- Repeaters are allowed to register with a gap of 6 months
- Please bring your own yoga mats. You can buy yoga mat at Ashram Divine Services also.
- There is no scholarship for AOL Part Time Teachers.
- Full Time AOL Teachers can write to us at programs@vvmvp.org regarding scholarship.
- If you have already made contribution for previous Sanyam and for any reason have not taken part in it, please write to programs@vvmvp.org with your details.PLEASE DON'T REGISTER HERE.

Gurupuja
The Sanskrit word “Puja” means “fullness”.
Pujas are performed out of a feeling of fullness, and in turn, it also brings a feeling of fullness.
The Guru Puja honours the lineage of spiritual masters of the Vedic tradition. Chanting the Guru Puja unites one’s mind with the tradition of spiritual masters.
In the Gurupuja Program, one learns how to chant the Guru Puja in Sanskrit and the meaning of the chants.
